Crafted from La Minita beans, regarded as the top 1 percent of coffee in the world, this light-medium roast is meticulously hand-harvested in the Tarrazú highlands of Costa Rica. The farming is done by hand, with no herbicides and no insecticides, and only ripe cherries are picked. The estate has a permanent forest preserve set aside on the property. Of every hundred pounds of cherry that enter the mill, only about twenty-three become La Minita. The cup is balanced and clean, with notes of sweet citrus and cocoa and a smooth finish.
