As the youngest daughter of a Navy SEAL, creating this coffee with my dad is deeply personal. From the moment you're born into the SEAL community, you're welcomed into a family unlike any other. Some of my favorite memories are of leaving school on base and heading straight to the unit where all of us SEAL kids would spend hours climbing ropes, jumping off rock walls, and making lifelong friendships. At the time, we didn't fully understand what our dads were training for, but we understood that their work mattered, and I always carried immense pride in being the daughter of a Navy SEAL.
This bag is dedicated to the "tadpoles," the children who grow up alongside the mission. Military life isn't always easy. It means saying goodbye to friends, packing up your world with little notice, and learning to start over again and again. Those experiences shape you, teaching resilience, adaptability, and the importance of leaning on your community. No matter where we landed, we learned to keep moving forward together.
This coffee is our way of honoring every SEAL family and every child who has quietly served through sacrifice, change, and unwavering support. To all the tadpoles who have called this community home, this bag is for you. Thank you for reminding us that courage comes in many forms and that, just like the saying we grew up hearing, "The only easy day was yesterday!"

Where It Comes From
Lil Frog comes from a single farm in Ethiopia's Keffa zone, sourced through Swift Coffee Sourcing. Owner Dinkalem Ademe grows it on fertile red-brown clay at 1,800 to 2,000 meters, naturally processed for a fruit-forward cup with real body behind it.
